I Am Not Alone

I. The darkness impedes on my soul, as I take a breath. Breathing in, I feel alone.

II. Numb to the sights, sounds, forms and colors that are around me. The painful island within gives no welcome path to enter.

III. I feel drawn to run...to a place that freezes the pain in time...Only to be awakened one day by the sound of truth...Ringing from the mountain tops.

IV. The birds on the mountain sing a song, I hear many wonderful sounds. I see a nurturing tree, the energy of many trees surround me. I see the comforting light, it surrounds all of us. I talk with a compassionate friend, I have many friends. I think of my family, they are in me and I am in them.

V. In the island within myself, many joys surround me. Let the light of many joys impede on my soul, as I take a breath. Breathing in, I feel free... I am not alone.
