MESSAGE FROM JOEL
It's easy to follow a paved road to your destination, but
sometimes the path to fulfillment isn't all that well
marked. That's when we need to look for a few well-placed
stepping stones to point the way.
In this week's Fulfillment Tips, I've laid down five
stepping stones, touching on personal as well as career-related suggestions.
Pay special attention to Stepping Stone #5. It's a concept
that many of us struggle with, but that pays big dividends
when we learn to do it well!
Please let me know about any stepping stones that have
helped you move forward in your search for fulfillment.
Email me anytime.

FULFILLMENT TIPS
Stepping Stones to Fulfillment
by Joel Garfinkle
1. Find your wisdom from within. You cant know how to
improve the job you have or get the job you love unless you
know what you want. Its important to look within rather
than outside yourself. Know yourself and your likes and
dislikes, what turns you on and gives you enjoyment.
2. Have a balanced life based on a strong personal
foundation - one of balance and alignment to self. Develop
a life outside of work -- view work and life as an integral
whole.
3. What really matters is having a purpose. People dont
just want a paycheck or to just keep busy at work. They
want to have a purpose within their work.
4. Dont do what you are good at; do what you love. Just
because you are good at your job doesnt mean it will give
you fulfillment.
5. Invest in yourself. Be willing to spend time, energy,
and money to create a truly fulfilling work and personal
life. Sometimes you need to prime the pump to start the
flow of abundance through your life.
